SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION

You said: I thought seriously that situation he suggested.
It’s better to say: I seriously pondered about the situations he presented.

You said: The main topic that go through that movie was sacrificing a few to save many people.
It’s better to say: The central theme that is palpable in the entire movie is about the self-sacrificing act of a few/is about sacrificing a few for the goodwill/survival of the majority.

You said: We read stories of sacrificing on textbooks.
It’s better to say: We can read/come across stories about sacrifice in textbooks.
